আমাকে ঠিক আগেরমতো
মনে পড়ে কি না জানি না
তুমি যেকথা বলো
চোখ মেল যা দেখি
তাও আজ বিশ্বাস করতে
বড় কষ্ট হয়।
বিশ্বাসের রোদে পুড়ে
আমি যখন অঙ্গার
তোমার পথেচলতে চলতে
যখন আমি ক্লান্ত
তখন একটা দীর্ঘশ্বাসের অনলে পুড়েিয়ে
করে দিলে সবকিছু বিরানভূমি।
তুমি তো বলেছিলে সেদিন
মরুর বেলাভূমিতে সাজাবে উদ্যান,
পাথরের বুকে ফোআটাবে ফুল।
কেন তবে আজ দূরাকাশের তারা হয়ে
আকাশের বুকে জোনাকীর মতো জ্বলতে চাও?
নয়নের আলো যদি নিভে যায়
দূরাকাশের তারার আলোর মূল্য কি আর?
